When you turn it on, the AI reads contracts and invoices and proposes the values to use: the rate, the advance, the amount. Every value quotes the exact passage of the document.
Rates, advances, recoupable costs, carried balances: a tested engine does the maths, never the AI. Every figure points to the report row it came from.
A PDF per artist, with the line-by-line detail and the reports behind it. Once issued, the period is locked: its figures never change.

Security
The label's database is encrypted on each computer. To keep your computers in sync, our servers in Ireland only carry sealed copies that we cannot read. If you turn the AI on, the text of a document is sent to Anthropic's Claude, without IBANs or sensitive numbers.
Your contracts
Record contracts usually set a royalty statement every six months, sent within 60 to 90 days of 30 June and 31 December. In California, the law lets artists audit the royalties they are paid, once a year. And in France, the law itself requires a statement every six months.

Labelmate is published from Belgium, so the GDPR applies to us directly, and we give its protections to every label, in the US, Europe or anywhere else. Your documents stay on your computers, our servers are in Europe, we never sell or share any data, and a data processing agreement sets out what we do for each label, with the commitments California's privacy law (CCPA) asks of a service provider.
No. Labelmate reads the label's mailbox from your computer and keeps everything there, encrypted. To keep several computers in sync, our servers only carry sealed copies we cannot read. If you turn the AI on, the text of a document is sent to Anthropic's Claude to be read, without IBANs or sensitive numbers.
It proposes, you decide. Every value quotes the passage it came from, and nothing is saved until a person at the label accepts it. The maths never goes through the AI.
